This is not the Sunday School you remember! Kids ROCK (Rely On Christ the King) is a place where learning is fun. Through songs, drama, games, and other activities, Bible lessons are presented in an age-appropriate, interactive, and relevant way. While it's important for children to experience worship with the parents (that's why we take a summer break and offer two morning services), it is equally important that children learn in ways that are meaningful to them. Kids ROCK is offered at 11:00 am during the school year. Kids ROCK begins on September 20, 2009. Kids ROCK will not meet on November 29, December 20, December 27, January 3, April 4 and April 11. The last day of Kids ROCK is May 23, 2010. |

This is my first day…
If this is your first day visiting Kids ROCK, you'll need to stop by the registration area located in the southwest corner of the building. Parents are asked to fill out a registration form and child profile. Children are then assigned to a small group. The small group leader will take it from there!
So, what do kids do in Kids ROCK?
Children are welcome to come to their small group room anytime after 10:30 am. Small Group Leaders or Small Group Assistants lead kids in a variety of activities from crafts to games.
At 11:00, the Small Group head down the hall to one of the two Large Group rooms. In Large Group, children worship together and a gifted teacher shares the Bible lesson using drama, video, or creative storytelling.
After the Large Group time, Small Groups meet with their leader to discuss the lesson and participate in activities that help kids apply the Bible story to their lives. Small Groups allow the leader to personally minister to each child, and encourage each child in their walk with Christ. In their leader, kids encounter an authentic, everyday Christian who is interested in them!
