Birth to 3 years

Our nursery is designed to provide a loving and safe environment for children from birth to 2 ˝ years of age.  Nursery is more than just babysitting – it's a place where Hillside's littlest members will be cared for and given their first experience in a church community.

Our nursery is divided into two rooms, one for infants and one for toddlers.  As a parent, you know best when your child is ready to make the change from the infant to the toddler nursery.  This usually happens between 12 and 16 months.  We ask that no children over 3 years of age use the nursery.  The safety and comfort of the younger children is at risk when older children are present.  We offer Little Lambs for children beginning at age 3.

Nursery is available at 9:30 am, 11:00 am, and occasional 5:00 pm services.  (Check with the church office or Hillside Monthly for 5:00 pm nursery availability.)

This is my first day…

If this is your first day visiting the nursery, your child will be checked in and out using the procedure detailed below.

Check-In & Pick-Up Procedures:  For the child's protection, parents are issued a numbered ID tag for their child.  The child will only be released to the person returning that ID tag.  This number is also used on the monitoring screens in the auditorium to alert parents that their child is having a difficult time and they should report to the nursery.

Nursing Mothers:  In between the two nursery rooms is a quiet room designed for nursing mothers.  In this room, you'll find rocking chairs and a changing table, and a live audio feed from the auditorium.  Mothers can feel free to enjoy this space on Sundays during the services or between services.

*In order to keep our children healthy, the nursery committee asks parents to keep sick children at home.
